Las Vegas, Nevada — October 30, 2025 — Acesso Biologics today announced the publication of real-world registry data demonstrating the effectiveness of its amniotic-derived Cellular and Amniotic Membrane Products (CAMPs) in the treatment of multiple chronic wound types.
The study, published in the Biomed Journal of Scientific & Technical Research (DOI: 10.26717/BJSTR.2025.63.009935 (https://dx.doi.org/10.26717/BJSTR.2025.63.009935)), provides prospective, real-world evidence supporting the clinical performance of Acesso Biologics CAMPs as an adjunct to standard wound care.
Study Overview
The NIH-listed registry (ClinicalTrials.gov NCT06328010) evaluated 39 chronic wounds of varying etiologies, including diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs), venous leg ulcers (VLUs), pressure, surgical, and traumatic wounds. All participants received Acesso Biologics CAMPs in addition to standard care after a minimum of four (4) weeks of conservative treatment.
Key Findings
- Completed–Healed group (n=15): 100% wound closure, median healing time of 6–12 weeks
- Active Treatment group (n=18): 67.8% mean wound area reduction, with DFUs and surgical wounds showing the most rapid progress
- More than 80% of active wounds achieved substantial closure by week 12
- Outcomes align with independent randomized controlled trials, underscoring the real-world effectiveness of CAMPs.
Company Statement
“These results reinforce Acesso Biologics’ commitment to advancing evidence-based regenerative therapies,” said Michael Aquino, Chief Executive Officer of Acesso Biologics. “The alignment between real-world data and controlled studies demonstrates the transformative potential of CAMPs in improving treatment trajectories and reducing the overall burden of chronic wounds.”
